“Wire Rod demand is sluggish and therefore prices have not
shown any gains. There seems a possibility that SAIL might increase its prices by Rs 1,000/MT in the first
week of next month, so trading prices of Wire Rod can expected to rise soon.
Raipur Wire Rod is trading at Rs 37,700/MT (Basic price),
down by Rs 100/MT and Binding Wire (20 Guage) is quoted at Rs 42,800/MT (Basic
price),” said a trader from Raipur.
HB Wire (12 Guage) trading prices are offered at Rs. 39,150/MT
(Basic price), down by Rs. 150/MT.
Barbed Wire (12*12 Guage) and GI Wire (12 Guage) trading
prices have decreased by Rs. 400/MT and are offered at Rs. 44,100/MT (Basic prices)
and 42,800/MT (Basic price) respectively in Raipur.
