Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has further increased rebar offer today by INR 1,000/t. The current trade price for 12 mm rebar on next day payment terms stands at INR 43,800/t FoR Ahmedabad. Prior to this, the company raised offer with the same quantum on 3rd Dec ’20. Consistently increasing raw material cost, improved demand and higher price offer by other competitive brands in the region resulted in an increase in offers, sources told SteelMint. Mono Steel has a rebar capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
