Gujarat-based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has increased rebar price today by INR 500/t. The current offer for 12 mm rebar is at INR 46,800/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST). As per SteelMint assessment, trade reference price for rebar in the region increased by around INR 1,500/t w-o-w. Rising raw material cost along with active demand and transactions in rebar steel resulted in the price hike, sources shared. The company has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
