Kalika Steel Alloys Pvt. Ltd, (Kalika TMT), one of the major rolling mills in Jalna, Western India has increased rebar offer today by INR 500/t. The current rebar 10-25 mm offer stands at INR 47,000/t exw. Price hikes in other competitive markets owing to active buying inquiries and rising semi-finished steel prices remained as the major factors behind hike in rebar offers, sources reported. The company has a monthly rebar production capacity of approx. 40,000 t.
