Western India: Domestic scrap prices increase on limited supply

Domestic scrap in Jalna, western India inched up by INR 300/t d-o-d with recovery of 93-94% (+/-1%) from the beginning of last week, due to inadequate supply movement, SteelMint learned. Current trade reference price assessed at INR 24,300/t (DAP). Near term price is expected to remain range bound, as per trade participants.
