Kardemir has exported its railway rail and coil products to South America for the first time, the company reported in a press release. The company currently has a capacity of 2.5 mn t pa liquid steel and plans to increase the same by 1 mn t to 3.5 mn t pa. Also, it will soon launch rails and wheels in both domestic and overseas market, for which certification studies will be completed soon.
