Strong sentiments are prevailing in Indian steel market amid improved demand and rising semi finish prices.
High cost of raw material has supported structure market as prices have increased sharply by INR 2,100/MT W-o-W.
Major price hike is seen in central India by INR 2,000/MT followed by in Mumbai by (+1,800) and Hyderabad by (+1,500).
However, structure prices are moved up by INR 1,000/MT in Durgapur at the same time.
Semi Finish 125×125 mm billet prices have moved up by INR 1,700-2,100/MT and hovering at the range of INR 23,750-27,900/MT.
Current, 100×100 mm angle offers are assessed in Durgapur at INR 29,750/MT, in Ahmedabad at INR 28,800/MT, in Raipur at INR 28,000/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 29,500/MT.
Meantime, 200×75 mm channel prices are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 28,750/MT, in Ghaziabad at INR 31,800/MT, in Ahmedabad at INR 29,000/MT, in Mumbai at INR 31,500/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,000/MT.
Heavy, 200×100 mm beam is being offered in Durgapur at INR 28,750/MT, in Ghaziabad at INR 31,300/MT, in Ahmedabad at INR 28,800/MT, in Mumbai at INR 32,100/MT and in Raipur at INR 27,500/MT.
