Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a navratna PSE under the ministry of steel, has invited a tender for export of 11,008 MT bloom followed by 5,504 MT billet to Nepal. The minimum offered quantity is 2,752 MT for both the products.
As per the delivery schedule, the last date of the delivery period shall be 28 Feb’18.
Destination: Nepal
The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 13 Feb’18.
Vizag Steel’s last export tender to Nepal of 5,500 MT Wire rod concluded at around USD 600/MT and 8,300 MT Billets at around USD 510-515/MT on the ex-mill basis.
However, recently in Jan’18 floated the export tender for global buyers of 10,000 MT billet, 20,000 MT Blooms have been cancelled by the company, according to market sources report to SteelMint. The tender got cancelled as bids received were lower than the expectation which was around USD 520-525/MT, FoB India.

The length of the billet and blooms is 12 meters approximately and packaging will be in bundles/loose for billet and loose for blooms.
