Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a navratna PSE under the ministry of steel, has invited a tender for export of 8,256 MT billet and 5,504 MT wire rod coils to Nepal. The minimum offered quantity is 2,752 MT for both products.
As per the delivery schedule, last date of delivery period shall be 30 Apr’18.
The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 10 Apr’18.

The length of the billet is 12 meters approximately and packaging will be in bundles.
Wire Rod Coils is in coil packaging of weight 1.2 MT or 2 MT each.

RINL’s last billet export tender to Nepal was concluded in the starting of Mar’18. The company concluded the entire tender quantity of 11,008 MT (equivalent to 4 rakes) billet to Nepal at around USD 515-520/MT (ex-mill).
The local steel mills in Durgapur have offered Induction grade billet exports to Nepal at USD 503-507/MT & Wire rod (5.5mm) at USD 580-585/MT; ex-mill.
