Vizag Steel has floated two different tenders for export of 20,000 MT Blooms of size 200 x 200 mm for all destinations and around 16,500 MT billet/bloom for Nepal.
Tender 1:
The company has issued first tender for 20,000 MT blooms (200 X 200 mm) with scheduled technical bids to open on 05 Nov’16 for December shipment.. The delivery of the material on FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on the direct export basis. The validity of the offer is till 12 Nov’16.
On 17 Oct’16, the company floated the similar tender for 30,000 MT bloom (200 X 200 mm) with scheduled technical bids which closed on 21 Oct’16. But, the company could not able to attract participants, hence re-scheduled the tender for 5 Nov’16.
Tender 2:
Another export tender floated by company includes 11,008 MT Billets ( 65 X 65 mm, 75 X 75 mm and 90 X90 mm) and 5,504 MT bloom (150 X 150 mm) specifically for Nepal . The scheduled technical bids will open on 10 Nov’16 till 11.00 hours and validity of offer will be till 17 Nov’16.
Company’s last export tender of 11,000 MT billet of size 90 X 90 mm for Nepal (via road) closed on 18 Oct’16. The tender attracted highest bid at USD 336/MT equivalent to INR 23,750/MT on ex-plant basis for 3,700 MT. Prices received were much higher as compared to previous tender prices.
In addition, the company also floated one more tender for 11,000 MT wire rod coils exports to Nepal with scheduled technical bids to open on 03 Nov’16.
