Vizag Steel has floated a tender for export of various steel products including Billet, Blooms, Rebar, Round, Structures and Wire Rod coils. The company is offering a total quantity of 138,000 MT to other countries.
The company, in the tender issued, has offered around 30,000 MT of billet and 60,000 MT of bloom, and has scheduled the delivery of material to 15 Jan’16 FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on direct export basis. Last date for bid submission is till 26 Nov’15.
There is another export tender in pipeline by Vizag steel for 90,000 MT billet/bloom specifically for ASEAN, African and Middle east countries, which is expiring on 13 Nov’15.
Last export tender held on 26 Oct’15 for 90,000 MT billet (65*65 mm and 95*95 mm) and bloom (150*150 mm) . The deal had been closed at around USD 280-285/MT, FoB Vizag Port. The cargo is likely to be shipped to Bangladesh.
