Vizag Steel has floated a tender for export of various steel products including Billet, Blooms, Structures and Cast Rounds. The company is offering a total quantity of 74,000 MT to other countries.
The company, in the tender issued, has offered around 20,000 MT of billet and 30,000 MT of bloom (150 X150 mm) and has scheduled the delivery of material to 30 Jun’16 on FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on the direct export basis. The last date for bid submission is till 26 May’16.
Last export tender held on 11 Apr’16 for 20,000 MT billet (100 *100 mm) and 30,000 MT Bloom (150*150 mm). Sources confirmed that deal for 40,000 MT (30,000 MT bloom and 10,000 MT billet) material has concluded at around USD 362-363/MT, FoB Vizag Port (Indian East Coast). Cargo was shipped to Bangladesh. Three companies participated in the tender namely Duferco, Tata International and Nucor. Among which, Duferco was the highest bidder, followed by Tata International and Nucor.
