Vizag steel issues another export tender for 90,000 MT Billet/Bloom, after receiving cold response in its last tender which closed in the mid of August.
Vizag Steel, India’s one of the largest and a government owned steel making unit has floated an export tender for 60,000 MT bloom, 30,000 MT billet, 36,000 MT rebars, wire rods and structural units with scheduled technical bids to open on 24 Sept’15.
The delivery of material will be till 15 Nov’15 at FOB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on direct export basis. Deadline for bid submission is till 24 Sept’15 at 15.00 hrs and technical bids will open on the same day at 15.30 hrs.
Another export tender for minimum 2,750 MT bloom and 2,750 MT wire rod coils specifically to Nepal is in pipeline. The tender has been scheduled to open on 14 Sept’15.

Last export tender of Bloom (150*150 mm) was concluded at USD 325-330/MT FOB India east coast. Falling Chinese billet offers will give a tough competition to Indian billet tender. Chinese Billet offers for 150*150mm assessed at around USD 310/MT CIF Bangaldesh.
