Vietnam: Steel exports up 27% to 11.71 mn t in CY’21

Steel exports by Vietnam stood at 11.71 mn t in CY’21, an increase of 27% against 9.24 mn t in the corresponding period last year, SteelMint data shows. Higher volumes dispatched to Europe boosted Vietnam’s export numbers. However, in Dec’21, export volumes dropped 20% to 809,983 t from 1.02 mn t in Nov.
