Vietnam: Ferrous scrap imports surge over 30%, m-o-m, in Dec’21

Vietnam’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 540,000 t in Dec’21, up 35% m-o-m from 400,000 t in Nov.
The USA was the largest supplier with 160,000 t, followed by Japan and Australia with 140,000 t and 120,000 t, respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, import volumes rose by 42% from 380,000 t in Dec’20.
