Vietnam: Steel exports surge 50% m-o-m in Dec’22

  • Vietnam’s steel exports surged by 50% m-o-m to 779,816 t in Dec’22 compared to 518,814 t a month ago, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
  • Cumulative export volumes declined sharply by 35% y-o-y to 7.65 mnt in CY22 (Jan-Dec’22) compared with 11.7 mnt in the previous calendar year.
