China: Iron ore spot prices rise d-o-d on optimism post Lunar holidays

Spot prices of iron ore in China rose d-o-d on a positive market outlook post the Lunar New Year holidays. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $3.35/t to $127/t CFR on 13 Jan’23. Seaborne trade activity slowed a bit with majority of market players opting to stay silent and postponing buying until the end of the New Year holidays.
