Vietnam’s integrated steel maker, Hoa Phat’s, crude steel output declined by 10% and construction steel sales volumes fell by 12% m-o-m in September. In Sep’22, the company’s crude steel output stood at 540,000 t, and sales at 555,000 t.
Slower sales momentum in the domestic and overseas markets amid seasonal concerns and volatile global steel market prices weighed on manufacturers’ performance.
