Leading Vietnamese steel producer, Hoa Phat, raised HRC prices sharply today by $95-98/t m-o-m for April and early May’22 despatches, sources informed.
- Offers for HRC (SAE 1006, skinpass) are at $828-832/t on CIF basis.
- Prices rose after major exporting countries like India, Japan and China started hiking HRC offers since early Jan.
- Formosa Ha Tinh increased prices by $90-95/t on 15 Feb.
