Vietnamese integrated steel major Formosa Ha Tinh has reduced hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices for Oct’21 deliveries by $15/t. The company has cut offers in the backdrop of stringent lockdowns in Vietnam amid surging Covid-19 cases and limited offers from major exporting countries. Effective prices for HRC (skinpass) stand at around $955-960/t on CIF basis, while prices for non-skinpass material are at $950-955/t CIF.
