Vietnam: Ferrous scrap imports largely stable m-o-m in Jan’23

Vietnam’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 193,250 t in Jan’23, largely stable m-o-m as compared to 193,470 t recorded in Dec’22.
Japan was the largest supplier at 90,134 t followed by USA and Hong Kong at 47,007 t and 21,350 t respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, ferrous scrap imports by the country increased 18% against 163,410 t in Jan’22.
