South Korea’s iron ore (including pellets) imports climbed by 32% m-o-m to 6.11 mnt in Jan’23 from 4.64 mnt in Dec’22, as per SteelMint data.
Australia was the leading exporter at 4.59 mnt followed by Brazil at 875,925 t.
On a y-o-y basis, the country’s iron ore (including pellets) imports moved up by a marginal 1% compared to 6.04 mnt in Jan’22.
