Vietnam: Ferrous scrap imports down by 12% in Oct’22

Vietnam imported 283,490t of ferrous scrap in Oct’22, a decline by 12% m-o-m as against 321,170t in the previous month, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Japan is again at the top as an exporter with 166,553 t followed by Australia and Hong Kong at 29,794 t and 26,029 t, respectively.
Vietnam imported 3.22 mnt of scrap in Jan-Oct’22, down 35% compared to the CPLY.
