Vietnam: Bulk coal, coke imports decline sharply m-o-m in Feb’26

Vietnam’s bulk imports of coal and coke declined 38.6% m-o-m and 20.6% y-o-y to 2.7 mnt in Feb’26, largely reflecting slower industrial activity following the Lunar New Year holidays and adequate inventories. Indonesia remained the leading supplier at 1.5 mnt (-31.8% m-o-m), followed by Australia with 1 mnt (-50% m-o-m), while imports from Russia were stable at 0.2 mnt.
