Iron ore division of Vedanta-Sesa iron ore is about to export two more iron ore vessels to China. Both the vessels carrying 80,000 MT each of fines (Fe 57%) are to be exported from Panaji Port. As per sources, the deals were settled at USD 37.5/MT and USD 37/MT CFR China respectively.
Between the two, the vessel named “Denita Wave” will begin loading next week. In line with this, another vessel of 80,000 MT is expected to be exported by the end of this month.
The mining giant has already exported 260,000 MT iron ore to China since Oct’15.
