US producers raised 304 cold-rolled stainless-steel prices by $60-100/t m-o-m in February due to rising nickel prices and its continued supply shortage in the country, according to sources. The transactional prices for cold-rolled stainless steel exceeded $4,300/t which are the highest in ten years. Meanwhile, nickel prices have reached close to $24,000/t amidst concerns about war between Russia and Ukraine.
