USA Pig Iron Imports Jump 66% in Feb’17 M-o-M

USA has made a big stride forward in its pig iron import M-o-M by 66% importing 495,300 MT in Feb’17 in comparison to 168,329 MT in Jan’17.

The country has moved up steeply Y-o-Y by 62% as it imported 184,108 MT in Feb’16 and 495,300 in Feb’17. Russia continues to be the largest exporter of pig iron to USA exporting 314,198 MT followed by Ukraine exporting 98,970 MT and Brazil exporting 80,672 MT in Feb’17.
