USA: Ferrous scrap exports rise by 7%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

US ferrous scrap exports rose by 7%, m-o-m, to 1.35 mnt in Feb’22 as against 1.26 mnt in Jan, as per customs data.
Turkey was the top importer at 0.37 mnt, followed by Mexico and Bangladesh at 0.22 and 0.19 mnt, respectively.
On a year-on-year basis, US export volumes remained largely stable compared with 1.34 mnt in Feb’21.
