USA: Ferrous scrap export increases by 19% in Mar’21

Ferrous scrap exports observed a rise of 19% m-o-m to 1.59 mn t in Mar’21 as against 1.34 mn t in Feb’21, as per the data maintained with SteelMint. However, on y-o-y basis also the export increased by 15%. Turkey stood the largest importer at 0.46 mn t in Mar’21 followed by Mexico and Taiwan.
