A central India (Raipur) based pellet manufacturer has sold around 10,000 t pellet (Fe 63%) at around INR 17,000/t today, SteelMint learned from sources. Another deal of 5,000 t pellets (Fe 62.5%) has been concluded at INR 16,000/t exw yesterday. Few market sources expect pellet offers to rise further. NMDC has announced a price hike of 30% in fines and 10% in lumps w.e.f 12th May.
