Coal production in USA had increased by approximately 7% in the second week of Jun’16 in comparison with that in the first week.
During the second week of the month that ended on 11Jun’16, 12,941 TMT of coal was produced in the continent; in the preceding week that ended on 4Jun’16, coal production in USA was lower at 12,011 TMT, reliable source of information shows.

On the contrary, the year-on-year production, as on 11Jun’16, declined by around 29.2% to 289,587 TMT from 409,221 TMT, as on the same day of the previous year.
