USA: Coal export shipments fall marginally in Jul’24

The US’ coal exports stood at 7.5 mnt in Jul’24, down by 9% against 8.2 mnt in Jun’24 according to data maintained by BigMint. The US’ thermal coal exports stood at 3.5 mnt whereas coking coal exports stood at 3.9 mnt in Jul’24. India remained its top coking coal importer followed by the Netherlands and Brazil in this period.
