China: Steel billet prices inch up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

Billet prices in Tangshan edged up RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,980/t ($418/t) on 27 Aug’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
A rise in raw material and finished steel prices has supported the increase in billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) decreased d-o-d by RMB 15/t ($2/t) to RMB 3,249/t ($456/t) on 27 Aug’24.
