US: Ferrous scrap exports up by 17% m-o-m in Oct’22

The US’ ferrous scrap export volumes up by 17% m-o-m to 1,667,466 t in Oct’22 as against 1,423,088 t in Sept’22.
Mexico continued to be the major importer at 321,736 t followed by India at 297,206 t and Malaysia at 227,246 t, respectively.
Total exports of the US in Jan-Oct’22 stood at 14.41 mnt, which is down by 5% y-o-y as compared to CPLY.
