Emirates Steel, one of the UAE’s leading steel producers, has reduced its rebar offers by around $45/t (AED 165/t) m-o-m for September deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. The revised offer stands at $640/t exw (AED 2,351/t) compared to $685/t (AED 2,516/t) exw last month. Sluggish demand in both domestic and exports market have resulted in lowering of offers by the company, SteelMint understands.
