Turkiye’s chrome ore exports drastically fell by 44% m-o-m to 32,218 t in Sep’22 against 57,429 t in Aug’22, as per Customs data. The main reason for the reduction in exports was lower shipments to China, where ferro chrome output is currently being reduced in key producing areas. In Jan-Sep’22, cumulative exports dropped by 15% y-o-y to 985,990 t.
