Scrap trade activities in Turkey remain limited owing to ongoing Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
However Turkish steel makers have booked good amount of cargoes in past few weeks as a measure of restocking and in expectation of improved steel demand post Ramadan holidays.
In a latest trade update received, Toscelik, a flat steel producer based in Turkey has purchased 25,000 MT ferrous scrap from trading company – Duferco.
The deal concluded comprised of HMS (80:20) at an average rate of USD 277/MT, and Bonus at an average rate of USD 287/MT.
