Turkey: Scrap import prices remain range-bound in fresh deals

Turkey’s scrap import market witnessed a few deals towards the weekend after remaining quiet earlier in the week.
A Baltic-origin scrap cargo comprising HMS 1&2 (80:20) was booked by a steel mill based in the West Marmara region at $467.5/t CFR Turkey.
However, SteelMint’s assessment for US-origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) stands at $470/t CFR Turkey, lower by $1/t w-o-w.
