Turkey: Scrap import prices inch down in recent deals

A 20,000 t UK-origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) cargo was booked by a mill in the West Marmara region at $488/t CFR, while 5,000 t of shredded material fetched $507/t CFR.
In another deal, a Benelux-origin cargo of HMS 1&2 (75:25) was booked at $486/t and bonus scrap at $506/t CFR by an East Marmara-based mill.
Prices have inched down $1-2/t, d-o-d, on lower bids.
