Turkey: Imported scrap prices rise as deep sea cargo bookings continue

Turkish mills have booked three bulk scrap cargoes recently, sources informed.
A West Marmara-based mill booked US-origin cargo comprising HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $472/t and shredded scrap at $492/t CFR Turkey.
A mill based in the Aegean region booked Baltic-origin cargo containing HMS (80:20) at $464/t CFR.
A US-origin cargo comprising shredded and PNS material was booked at an average price of $490/t by a East Marmara-based mill.
