Melting scrap prices gained by INR 400/t in Alang on 11 Jan’22. The trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 37,400/t exw. Improved market sentiments as well as moderate transactions in semi-finished steel in the spot market supported scrap suppliers to strenghten offers today, sources shared.
