Trafigura to get marketing rights of South African coal miner: Sources

Multinational commodities trader Trafigura is set to get the marketing rights of South African coal miner Seriti Resources, CoalMint learnt from sources. Till now Trafigura had a limited presence as a supplier of South African coal to India, although it is a prominent supplier of Indonesian and Australian coal. With this significant development, Trafigura could now sell Seriti’s coal directly to Indian buyers.
