Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports down 4% m-o-m, in Jun’22

Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports were down by 4% to 173,280 t in Jun’22 as against 179,776 t in May’22, as per data maintained by SteelMint.
Australia emerged as the top exporter with 24,165 t followed by USA and Japan with 18,062 t and 16,132 t respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, scrap imports increased by 13% from 152,748 t in Jun’21.
