Thailand: Active scrap bookings recorded as prices inch down in fresh deals

Thailand witnessed active scrap bookings over the last couple of weeks on high demand from end-users at the same time that prices inched down by $2-4/t w-o-w.
In a recent deal, around 1,500 t of Central America-origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) was booked at $550/t CFR LCB.
Another deal for 1,500 t of HMS 1&2 (60:40) of similar origin was sold by a trader at $540/t CFR.
