- Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) increased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,000/t ($53/t) d-o-d on 9 April 2022. The effective price stands at INR 294,250/t ($3,879/t).
- The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME was $3,374/t on 8 Apr’22 as against $3,385/t the previous day.
- The company has a production capacity of 1.2 mnt per annum and accounts for 34% of the domestic market share.
