Tata Steel to halt all business with Russia, stop coking coal imports

In the middle of the Russia-Ukraine war and sanctions on Russia, Tata Steel has announced to withdraw all business with Russia, putting an end to its coking coal imports from the country. The Indian government has announced its plan to double its coking coal imports from Russia this year, while thermal coal imports are expected to rise as Russian miners continue to offer steep discounts.
