Taiwan’s largest stainless steel producer, Yusco, will set August’s 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel prices through individual negotiations, surprising the market. Meanwhile, 430 prices remain unchanged, and the surcharge for 316L has been increased by TWD $2,000/t ($67/t). This approach has seemingly been taken to address fluctuating raw material costs and to better align pricing with specific customer requirements amid a challenging market.
