The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) is a state-owned electric power utility providing electric power to Taiwan and off-shore islands of Republic of China, has invited a global tender for purchase of 640,000 MT low ash and extra low sulfur sub-bituminous coal for Taipower thermal power plant.
General conditions
1. Delivery period is from Apr’17 to Aug’17.
2. The material shall be shipped by 8 Panamax size vessels, each should carry 80,000 MT+/-10%.
3. Bidder may offer one or more than one shipment.
4. The bid bond is USD 80,000 or TWD 2,596,000 per shipment.
5. The bidder proposing coal mine with the origin of Indonesia is requested to provide in the technical and commercial proposal a copy of ET batubara issued by ministry of trade of the Republic of Indonesia.
