Taiwan: Ferro Alloy Imports Remain Unchanged in Sep’17

According to the Taiwanese customs, the country has witnessed no change in its Ferro Alloy imports.

In Sep’17, Taiwan imported a total of 0.06 MnT Ferro Alloys against similar volume in the previous month. Moreover, on yearly basis, there has been no change as Taiwan imported 0.06 MnT in Sep’16 as well.

In Sep’17, Taiwan imported 0.02 MnT of Ferro Chrome, 0.01 MnT Ferro Silicon, 0.02 MnT Silico Manganese and 0.01 MnT Ferro Manganese. All the commodities witnessed no change in volume while Silico Manganese imports increased by 50%.

India was the largest ferroalloy exporter to Taiwan at 0.02 MnT in Sep’17. South Africa, China, and Malaysia exported relatively similar volume of 0.01 MnT to Taiwan during the period.
