Indian steel mills have raised export offers for HDGI (Hot Dipped Galvanised Iron, SGCC dx 51 a) this week following improved domestic demand. Present assessment stands at USD 720-725/MT, FoB India against last week’s assessment of USD 710/MT, FoB.
Chinese HDGI Export offers rise marginally – Chinese HDGI (1 mm) export offers are assessed at USD 645-650/MT, FoB against previous week’s assessment of USD 640-650/MT, FoB China. Few trade deals were also reported to South Korea and some other countries at last USD 645-650/MT, FoB.
Domestic Galvanised plain coil prices remain stable:
Market participants mentioned galvanised plain coil prices have remained stable this week and there is not so much bullish demand. Price assessment for Galvanised plain coil (0.8 mm, 120 GSM) is at : INR 48,000-52,000/MT (ex-Mumbai), INR 49,000-50,000/MT (ex-Chennai) and INR 49,800-50,500/MT (ex-Delhi).
